So recently I bought a vacuum form machine. It heats and molds plastic to any shape I can mold. So, naturally I use it to make puppet eyes. These are great. Here is what they look like fresh out of the mold and ready to be sanded…
Here is a comparison of one that has been cleaned up and one that hasn’t…and then with a few finishing touches! I’ll be offering these for sale. Any of the shapes you see below are $17 a pair and for custom shapes I can shoot you a quote.

What is the brand name of your dental vacuum form machine and does it come with plastic sheets?
James Kemp
it does not have a brand marking, and sheets are sold separately.

Hi James,
Love your work on here and your blog! I’m wondering what brand of vacuum forming machine you use? Is it a dental one with the beads? The only affordable ones I can find (on Ebay etc) are the dental ones. You still liking it?
Cheers from Canada,
Andrew

Andrew, I love my vacuum form. Mine is a dental one, bu admittedly I have no idea what the beads are for. Mine didn’t come with them but I have seen many pictured with those small metal beads.
